Dal Tadka
An easy, high fiber Dal Tadka recipe
Ingredients:
Instapot Ingredients:
1 can of diced tomatoes
1 medium red onion
3-4 TBSP Cumin
2-3 TBSP Coriander Powder
3 TBSP Turmeric
1 tsp Mustard Seeds
1 Cup Toor Dal
1 cup water
For Tempering:
1 TBSP Cumin
2-3 TBSP Ghee
1 TBS Coriander Seeds
3-4 TBSP Minced Garlic
1/2-1 tsp Hing
Recipe:
Line the bottom of the instapot with your ghee.
Add in all the Instapot ingredients, stir well.
Set your Instapot to high pressure for 6 minutes. Let it cook.
While that is cooking, add ghee to a small pot on the stove. Once hot, add in the temper ingredients and stir around
Once ready, add the tempered ingredients to the dal. Stir. Enjoy!
